Polyester based artificial marble is made by mixing unsaturated polyester as a binder with quartz sand, marble, calcite powder, and other materials, casting them into shape, and then solidifying them under the action of a curing agent. It is then processed through demolding, drying, polishing, and other steps to produce the desired artificial marble. China often uses this method to consume artificial marble.
Composite artificial marble is composed of inorganic materials and organic polymer materials. After bonding the fillers with inorganic materials, immerse the green body in organic monomers to polymerize under certain conditions. For the board, the bottom layer is made of low-cost and stable inorganic materials, and the surface layer is made of polyester and marble powder.
